We offer two different follow up medication reminders after you receive your initial medication reminder. These follow up reminders only occur if you have not yet marked the medication as taken.
The first follow up reminder occurs 15 minutes after your scheduled time. The second and final follow up reminder occurs 3 hours after your scheduled time. You can customize the timing of these follow up reminders, or turn them off, by following the steps below:
- In the Banner Medications app, click on the navigation menu at the top left of the app
- Click “Settings”
- Under “Reminders and Notifications,” click on the “2nd Reminder” button. You will be prompted to select your desired reminder time (Off, 15 min, 30 min, 45 min, 60 min)
- You may also select if you want a final reminder (sent 3 hours after the scheduled medication time) by switching the button next to “Final Reminder” to on
