Why are my notifications not coming through?

If you are not receiving notifications, try the following:

iOS

  1. Open “Settings” on your device.
  2. Click on “Notifications.”
  3. Click on the Banner Medications app and ensure “Allow Notifications” is toggled to on.

Android

  1. Check your device’s battery settings. Some newer versions of the Android operating system delay notifications for certain apps based on the device’s battery and power settings.

  2. If you are using Android 6.0, you may need to disable the “Doze” mode to receive your reminders.

    To disable “Doze” mode:

    1. Open your device’s settings and choose “Battery.”
    2. Click on the three dots at the upper right of your screen (the “Options” menu), then click on “Battery Optimization.”
    3. Click on the down arrow, then click “All Apps.”
    4. Click “Banner Medications”, then click “Don’t Optimize.”
    5. Click “Done.”
